Avoid GetSmarter Like the Plague!
Oxford University content was really good, I enjoyed it. Just avoid anything run by GetSmarter. The support is absolutely terrible, they make up dates and excuses when your certificates don’t arrive on time, or ever. I’ll never use them again and I’ll make sure others in my company are aware too. Shocking.

Such Poor Customer Service
I agree with all the comments. I can't believe these top universities continue to put their names against these courses. Support is non-existent, getting someone on the phone is impossible and you have to chase to get anything done continually. I would give zero stars if it were possible.

I absolutely won't be using them again and contemplating legal action.

Broken website, unhelpful support teams
I have signed up for a course in this platform a few months ago. Issues started right at the beginning - I was not sent any information once the course started.
I contacted their support, and they have assured me that I would be sent this information that exact day via email, but I didn't receive anything.
I contacted support a few more times, each time they assured that I would be contacted via email. Once I asked for a refund, they didn't even let me know where should I reach out for it.
The situation was sorted out, and I was given a refund after long discussions with support.
Their payment support team is really unresponsive as well, I did not manage to get a proper refund credit note with correct information for a few weeks. They kept replying with new versions, but still missing the crucial information, even though I clearly stated what I needed a few times. To this day I have not received the correct credit note - my last email to them has received no reply for 2 weeks now.
Overall, very bad experience, I would not recommend this for anyone, especially considering their prices.

Oxford university disaster
I can't believe Oxford university has aligned with them. The course run by Oxford was amazing but in the 7 months since, I have had to repeatedly try to get my certificate sent, they have sent it 4 times to the wrong address, once they sent it to the right address but had printed it upside down the Oxford logo was upside down. Horrific customer service, still no resolution. absolutely ruined the course and I would now not recommend.

No support post-course completion
Completed a Online course in 2020 during th pandemic, which made online learning a good alternative. The course and training material was fantastic. Support post completion of course has been shocking to say the least. Major issues in requesting certificate re-prints despite multiple emails, supporting documents or affidavits. No feedback or guidance in how to escalate request and no service recovery from Getsmarter when I have raised an official complaint. Lack of communication from Getsmarter and it's management. I have been requesting assistance for 3 month with no follow-up or feedback. I would not recommend this online institute to any student, they lack the professionalism to continue delivering a acceptable service to the current, past and future students. No matter how good the course was, this negative service unfortunately destroys the entire Getsmarter student experience. STRONGLY WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND GETSMARTER.

WORTHLESS
WORTHLESS. The course goes wide but not deep anywhere. There's no interactivity; it's not easy to get support; I appear to be the only idiot that signed up for the class. I got ripped off for $1,900. Okay, maybe only $1,800, the lean canvas info was useful.

Proceed with caution!
Given the price, I could not recommend this educational platform. The course content was good but course navigation, feedback and instructions were not up to standards. Confusing instructions and minimal feedback.

I signed up for an online course during…
I signed up for an online course during the pandemic, thinking that it would be possible for me to get it done. Well, I was wrong. Learning and working in the same space all day long was more taxing than I thought, so I couldn't get it done. A couple of days later I requested to do the course on a later date, but they could not do that because the terms stated that it's not possible. Well, how thoughtful of the company, it's always nice to have educational institutions who care for their students.

I do NOT recommend taking a course at this company.

Rubbish third party education service
I am unclear how this South African based education technology company has contracts with some of the best universities in the world to offer online educational programs. Their customer service is appalling. One has to go through multiple menu items to get to the right department and then remain on hold for ages, sometimes disconnected. They use cheap phone lines so the connection to the South African operators is poor at best. They know nothing about the courses and are generally ill equipped to offer any kind of service or support. They are just a booking agent with very poor infrastructure. I would not recommend dealing with them and am very surprised such prestigious universities work with them.
